Delta Chairmanship 2024: Tulu Declares intention to Run for Warri South West Seat

Former Leader of Warri South West Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Rose Tulu, has formally declared her intention to contest for the position of Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Council under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) just as she promised to bring a positive administrative system in the council under the MORE agenda programmer of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Chief Rose who made her intention known during a formal declaration at her ward Isaba Ward 2, said her vision is to change the narrative in the local government and rebrand the system with her transformation agenda which is in line with Governor Oborevwori MORE agenda.
She promised to uplift the communities and bring about positive change to the council, noting that
she has witnessed firsthand the struggles and challenges faced by her people and knows their pains.
She spoke passionately about the potentials of Warri South West local government area and the need for sustainable development, adding that basic amenities such as clean water, reliable electricity, and others will be drastically addressed to speed up development in the area.
She to the ward leaders led by Chief Boro Opudu ward chairman, Mr Austin Deinfegha and other exco members present, that with her wealth of experience in the legislative business and also at the state, she will ensure that every community under the council is carried along.
She further promised to create an enabling environment that will attract speedy development in various wards and communities that make up the local government if given the opportunity to serve.
